This is a list of information you should know before you begin working on the Intermediate Bundle of Sing By Sight

  • Be able to identify the stave, bar lines, the final bar line and the Treble Clef

  • Understand the meaning of the time signatures of 4/4 and 3/4

  • Know the note and rest values of whole notes (semibreves), half notes (minims), quarter notes (crotchets) and eighth notes (quavers)

  • Know how to construct the first 5 notes of the major scale using whole tones and half tones
